I had the pleasure of performing alongside a number of great poets at the Southbank on the 8th October - National Poetry Day.
I shared some of my poems based around this year's theme of Light. It was a brilliant day.
Even the singer/ songwriter David Gray got into the swing of promoting poetry!
Today I got copies of my new book through the post - a verse
re-telling of the classic Sleeping Beauty.
Big Cat Collins have done a fine job in producing this book- and I absolutely love the illustrations by Dani Padron.
Next week I go on tour with The Children's Bookshow- both working in schools and also performing at Stafford Gatehouse Theatre in October and at The Curve Theatre, Leicester, in November.
